How Employee Mapping Works
Optional- 1All names are first standardized automatically (trim, proper case, first + last word).
- 2If a standardized name matches an Original Name in the mapping file, it is replaced with the Standard Name.
- 3The resolved name is used as the EmployeeKey for all merges — resolving cross-file naming inconsistencies.
- 4If no mapping match is found, the auto-standardized name is used as-is.
Employees not found in the UKG Labor file are automatically excluded from the final output — silently, with no warnings.
